When I was transferred here for my job, I really wanted to Meet People Washington DC. I didn't care that much about meeting a man as I was in just making friends. I made several friends with people in my office, but I am very guarded about letting co-workers know too much about my personal life because that got me into sensitive situations in the past.

I'm not into social networking any more but when I was I allowed my co-workers to "friend" me. That gave them access to where I was and a whole bunch of other personal information that was none of their business. I only "friended" them because I was new to the company and though it would be rude to reject their friend request. I have since closed my account and no one can know my business any longer. Thank God I'm an incredibly open and friendly person who doesn't mind striking up a conversation with a woman working on her computer at a coffee place. Or if I see someone holding a tennis racquet, I'll ask him or her where they play tennis and ask for their phone number so that I can get more information about their tennis club. Have Fun While You Meet People Washington DC

I meet people wherever I go, so it's no surprise that I found it so easy to Meet People Washington DC. I'll strike up a conversation with anyone who seems friendly and that's how I have become comfortably situated in every city I've lived in through my entire career. I'm constantly getting transferred from office to office so packing up and moving every two years is nothing new.

One of the first things I do when I arrive in a new city is figure out how to meet people with similar interests. By looking in the local papers and scouring the Internet I can start signing up for classes that interest me. From ballroom dancing lessons, to cooking classes and even rock climbing outings, there's never a shortage of events to attend. Since I am mostly looking for female companionship - not that I wouldn't like a man in every city I've lived in- there are several women at these events and since I'm really good at talking to strangers and making follow-up plans, it makes it even easier to find friends.

Some men and women can never Meet People Washington DC because they just don't make the effort. You can't expect to show up in a new city, go to your job, come home to your cats, eat dinner in front of the TV, and magically meet other people.

A co-worker of mine who is painfully shy has recently warmed up to me. We went out for a drink after work and I invited her to an event that we were both mutually interested. In the beginning she found it difficult to speak to anyone else other than me, but as the night went on she began to meet people and enjoy herself more and more as the night wore on. The next day at work she told me that she had a blast. You can't cure shyness overnight but she was more than welcome to tag along as much as she wants to.

Friendship is not by force but willingly

This is because most people confuse the word friendship; so what is friendship? Here are some key points that can lead us to the correct definition of friendship.

We are always the highest value, and it seems that our life is stagnant or declining may indicate a fact, we are not in good standing. When a person is in a bad relationship, then it is clear that friendship can be established. The level of growth and progress they make in life is a function of the level of friends to join. Each year we analyze the number of friends to keep and those who have no value my life is immediately rejected. Why has a choice in the type of friends warned, is for me to decide to continue or discontinue a relationship with someone to call a friend.

There are two ways of life, the road to success and failure of the road. The location of these streets is usually filled with a barrier or another, all to ensure that we reach our destiny in life. One of the things that can help us in our journey towards the destiny that God has ordered life is the ability to combine good friends. Our friends will help align our radar, our destiny in life. It should be noted here, a friendship can be fun when both parties move in the same direction. As interest and your friends will be around until the end, it's time to call out.

If you have a touch of envy among those who call upon our friends, when we send on their excellent results, this is not a good sign. I've seen people get upset because their friends have just bought a new car. Spirit of jealousy is a destructive spirit, which obstruct the free love and unity among friends.

I once had a relationship for almost a year, I thought that someone close to my heart. The day came when I realized the need to evaluate the relationship. I meditate on the friendship and it was clear that I was not honest with myself. The relationship was going nowhere, and this was due to the fact that we never had a specific goal from the beginning. We were just going to the starting point and deceive us, but it was all taken. Some friends do not tell us the truth, what I feel inside for fear of hurting us. Honesty is the foundation of any true friendship, and as long as there is, nothing good can come of such a relationship.

Nicole Alejadro: My Best Friend Washington DC

Nicole is my best Friend Washington DC. I have known her for almost five years. We were introduced at a night race in June of 2007 by her brother who was my boyfriend at the time. When we met, I was 15, she was 12, and now we are 20 and 17. We have been friends through so many of life's ups and downs that I can not imagine how I could go through life without her by my side.

We lived together, in the same room, from the fall of 2007 until the summer of 2008. We had matching beds, the same kind of computers, we shared everything from clothes to make up to hair accessories, and we spent every waking moment together. We took turns cooking for each other, we shared chores, we talked to each other while taking showers to keep from being bored or lonely, we listened to each other's phone conversations, we gave each other advice, and we did many other things together that no matter what in the world every happens that people should not or normally would not do in the same room. After I moved out of her house, she came to mine every morning before school and right after she got out. We made weekend plans together, too. When I relocated for a year to do some training, we lost touch drastically. It was almost like we would never be friends again. That was the most depressing time of my life. There are no secrets between us. I would never want to make online friends with anyone else.

Nicole and I now live only ten minutes away from each other, so we see each other as often as we like when we have time aside from our super busy schedules. Our lives our significantly different in that she works a full time job, goes to college, and is with her friends when is not doing that or sleeping. I have two kids, a part time/ full time job, and I just work and take care of my kids. However, we are still best Friend Washington DC, and nothing will ever change that!
