Friends are the best part of life

Friendship is a feeling of love and affection of one person for another. This feeling of love must be reciprocated. Otherwise friendship cannot be possible. Friendship does not exist where tastes, feelings and sentiments are not similar.

The famous essayist Bacon has warned against the friendship between a very rich person and a very poor person. Economic disparity damages friendship. Thus friendship is a feeling of affection between two likeminded persons of uniform status.

It is said that a friend in need is a friend in deed. There may be many friends at the time of prosperity. But most of them desert at the time of adversity. We can examine the sincerity of a friend during our time of hardship and trouble. Only a sincere and faithful friend remains with us at the time of our trouble. All others leave us. It is very painful when our friends turn traitors.

Money is an enemy of friendship. Everybody has an attraction for money. When lending or borrowing of money is done between two friends, there is great risk. Friendship may be affected. So it is wise for true friends to avoid monetary transaction. Vanity is another element which breaks friendship. Everybody has self-respect. When a person tries to criticise his friend, their friendship is affected. So friendship must be treated very delicately.

Very often some hypocrites pretend to be friends. They are more dangerous than avowed enemies. By telling soft words they bring enormous ruin to us. A true friend never exploits. He rather surrenders. But at present, the meaning of friendship has changed.

There are many fair-weathered friends. They terminate their friendly tie as soon as their interests are fulfilled. It is very difficult to find a true friend today. It is better to establish true friendship with either a dog or an elephant. Both these beasts will remain faithful to their human friends. Today, friendship between two persons is short-lived.

Good friends exercise good influence. They always help their friends, in distress and inspire them to walk on the right path. But evil friends ruin us completely.

Why It Is Good For a Man to Be Just Friends With a Woman

Quite often you will hear the debate about whether or not it is good for men and women to be just friends. Now, I won't delve into the area of whether or not committed couples should have close opposite sex friends. What I want to explore is whether or not single men can benefit from being just friends with a woman. To be upfront about it, my position is that it is one of the best things that a man can do. Most guys have too few female friends and they pay a price for this.

It's not uncommon for a man to reach his mid twenties without really having much of a grasp at all on how the female mind works. It's all too common for guys to look at women as being only possible mates and nothing more. While some of that definitely is due to the way that we are "wired" to be, a lot of that also has to do with societal conditioning that separates the girls and the boys at a young age. So, it is not entirely natural for things to be that way.

Here's why I think it is beneficial for a guy to be just friends with a woman:

I alluded to why in the previous paragraph, but I will expand on it here. As I mentioned, it's pretty routine for a man to reach into his mid twenties and even beyond that age and still have absolutely no clue as to the way that women really are. These guys will instead possess an idealized image of the way that they think women should be like, and many times this prevents them from really having quality relationships.

Had they had more opposite sex friendships, they probably would lose that idealized image of the way that women are "supposed" to be. I know I did. What happens when a guy gets to have some insights into the ways that women really think and feel and act is... he gets to see a much more realistic picture and so, when he gets into a long term relationship, there are far fewer surprises that cause conflicts.

There is also the fact that men and women tend to socialize in a slightly different manner and this is where it really becomes beneficial for a guy to have female friends, because in order to get into that long term relationship... he has to know how to make a woman feel attracted to him. As a teenager, I did not start off with too many female friends and I honestly had no clues at all about how to make a girl like me.

By the time I reached my late teens, I had made many female friends and all of a sudden, it seemed pretty easy to create attraction with a woman. It all came from the fact that I had learned through my female friends and their experiences with guys, what worked and what did not work. I wasn't one of those guys that got locker room advice from the fellas who had no greater clue than I did... I got REAL insights that showed me what worked like a charm and what to avoid at all costs.

In being just friends with women, a guy not only picks up insights that will make him more successful with women, he also gets insights into what women actually are like in all their moments, not just a few snips here and there. That is something that guys who do not have female friends just do not get to experience and it ends up causing them lots of heartaches, lots of confusion, and lots of lonely nights.

When should a guy make it a point to pick up some female friends?

The earlier the better in my opinion. However, when he is really trying to get women figured out, that is probably the BEST time possible. So many guys get to a point where they really desire to have a girlfriend, but they are stuck in catch 22 kind of situation, because their lack of female friends means they lack the ability to create real attraction with women and to know what little social cues to use to make that attraction grow to where she wants to be their girlfriend.

Make Friends and Meet People Washington DC

When I was transferred here for my job, I really wanted to Meet People Washington DC. I didn't care that much about meeting a man as I was in just making friends. I made several friends with people in my office, but I am very guarded about letting co-workers know too much about my personal life because that got me into sensitive situations in the past.

I'm not into social networking any more but when I was I allowed my co-workers to "friend" me. That gave them access to where I was and a whole bunch of other personal information that was none of their business. I only "friended" them because I was new to the company and though it would be rude to reject their friend request. I have since closed my account and no one can know my business any longer. Thank God I'm an incredibly open and friendly person who doesn't mind striking up a conversation with a woman working on her computer at a coffee place. Or if I see someone holding a tennis racquet, I'll ask him or her where they play tennis and ask for their phone number so that I can get more information about their tennis club. Then during that conversation - especially if it's a woman - I'll then ask them if they want to play together. To Meet People Washington DC and gather a nice, fun group of friends isn't that hard. You just have to be open to the idea of making friends.

Communication with your partner

Start with answering this questions:

What is your partner like? What are the things you disagree about? Do you think and feel the same about things? What are the things you feel different? For what of the issues you feel misunderstood? Do you need him/her to understand you? Do you need to understand him/her?

Some of the main issues in relationship is communications. There are either daily routines, that make you forget about that either to many other important things. Have you think ever that maybe you don't communicate anymore. He/She is changed. She doesn't react anymore same on the same things. Have tried a different new approach?

One of the main thing is to change the approach. But not only the way of saying things. The whole general feeling about that. Imagine is somebody brand new next to you. Is that the way you would say or ask something. Probably no., you would not. So, try different treatment, like somebody new. Change the emotions you bring in the question, or issues that already happen. Forget that. Treat Him/Her nice, with respect and new.

Maybe there are new thing to learn about your partner. And probably you will like the respond to that. Address with love and you will find love.

There is one book I recently both, that might be helpful in this manner , it is called 500 Questions for Couples. The whole idea is creating new approach, creating time for you two. Crating and dig the romance and love in you. It is meant to be like a third person, so it can change a marriage consultant.

Is based on questions and answers. Homework for both of you. With the questions you maybe can come up, but the order and the fact that it is not coming from you but professional person- the book, that is changing the picture. Sometimes, asking the wrong question will even leave a strain inside the relationship. You see, it is not just any question but 1 that is something that will either spark the adore to even grow brighter or encourage one another to be extra sharing and open.

The Trick to Making Friend Washington DC

When I first moved here I had no problem making Friend Washington DC. This city has so much to offer and so many wonderful sights to see, that if you're outgoing like I am you will have tons of friends in no time.

When I moved into my apartment building in the city, I made my first friend my first day there while walking my dog. It's so easy to find friends if you have an adorable animal attached to your arm. It was winter and there was snow on this grassy area in front of a church. My dog loves running in the snow so I let her loose to prance around and so did this woman who ironically has the same breed of dog as me and happened to live on the exact same floor.

We struck up a long conversation in front of that church and then went back to the same floor and made plans to meet for coffee across the street the next morning. We also both took care of each other's dogs when one of us was out town, and also helped out with the walks when one of us had to work late.

I met this one man named Rick who was at the same level as I was. I'm an excellent backgammon player and it's so disappointing to play people that aren't as good as you are. Eventually, after months of playing online he asked if I'd like to meet at a backgammon club in DC.

So Rick and I finally met and played in person. He wasn't anyone I was interested in dating. Besides, he was 30 years older then I, and was married. He just turned out to be a great Friend Washington DC. He also loves baseball. But we don't like the same teams so we would spar with each other about how our teams are doing. I also met his wife who is a wonderful woman and always bakes me brownies. I'm so glad I moved here.

You're going to lose the friendship, or you're going to get the friendship taken from you by circumstances beyond your control.

If you're trying to win back your ex-girlfriend, don't substitute friendship for the relationship you really want. Your best bet is to work for it. Start working toward getting your girlfriend back, and take those first steps toward building a new future together. If your ex still loves you on any kind of level, there will still be some room in her heart for you. Seize the opportunity to establish something real, and save the friendship for other people.

My Friend Washington DC

I have a Friend Washington DC who I met in college. We were roomed together in the same dorm. At first, we did not get along because we argued about how to arrange the room, and we just totally could not agree on any thing! We argued about who took longer in the shower, who snored in their sleep, and who needed to get up earlier or later for classes. It took almost half of the first semester for us to get accustomed to one another's ways, but once we did, we have been inseparable ever since.

From the moment we decided to make friends with each other, there was no secret that we did not share. Washington told me everything, and I told him everything. We even pens, notebooks, and pencils, study notes, clothes, phone numbers and e-mail addresses from girls, and everything in between; what was mine was his and likewise. All throughout our four years of college, Wash and I took the same classes and fought with administration to stay in the same dorm room together. When we finally graduated, we knew that we were going to have to compromise about where we would both move to because we did not ever want to be living more than a few miles apart from each other in distance.

We decided that we would start a law firm together. That way, we could work together and there would be no reason for us to be separated. Then, we decided that we should also just rent a studio apartment together to save costs. By doing that, commuting to work together every day, and combining our savings accounts, we were able to form a strong law firm without taking out a loan, and our firm has become very successful over the years. I can not imagine a day without my Friend Washington DC in my life, and he feels the same way about me. There is no doubt in my mind that he is the best friend I have ever had in my whole life, and he is the only friend I will ever have until the day I die.

You do not want those things to build up so sit down at night and talk about them.

Gradual detachment is a very attractive thing when you're talking about losing someone you've just spent a whole lot of time with. Many couples talk, text, or see each other on a daily basis. Losing someone that close to you all at once can really hurt, which is why staying friendly after breaking up can help soften that blow.

Yet there are some real downsides to being in an ex boyfriend or ex girlfriend friendship. Some of them include the following:

Being Jealous of Your Ex

Whenever your ex moves on with his or her life, you're always going to wonder what that life would've been like had you remained together. As your ex succeeds in dating someone else, you may feel like you weren't good enough to be that person. Jealousy over your ex's new lovelife may cause bitterness on your part. These are natural human emotions, and it's hard to suppress them just for the sake of friendship. Watching your ex date, kiss, and be with other people can really tear you up inside, and you'll end up keeping these emotions in check for the sake of the friendship.
Feeling As If You Were the "Loser" of the Break Up

There's no such thing as a mutual breakup, no matter how many people try to sell you that line. In every single case, someone is going to always feel at least slightly rejected. Even if you feel like the break up was good for you, the rejection associated with it is not. This will translate into more bitterness toward your ex. You Can Never Be Honest With Your Ex

You'll want to pump up every success and make it sound as if you're doing just great without this person, simply to raise your level of comfort. Because of this, you'll never really be able to have an honest conversation. You can always confide in friends, especially through bad times... but in the case of an ex boyfriend or girlfriend this type of honest communication just can't exist. You'll be too busy showing your ex that you're not wounded or damaged.

You Can't Be Happy For Your Ex

No matter what your ex boyfriend or girlfriend goes on to do in life, you'll have a hard time being happy for them as a good friend should. It's not that you'll wish bad things upon them, but as a consequence of breaking up with you you're always going to want them to be less successful. These type of jealous feelings are not good for a friendship, and over time you'll spend more and more time pretending and less and less time actually caring for this person you were once so close to. Your ex's happiness will be like poison to you, simply because you're not a part of their romantic life.

Eventually You'll Want Your Ex Back

In almost every case where people become friends after breaking up, the one who had their heart broken will fantasize about the return of the romance. If this is you, you shouldn't even be bothering with the issue of can I be friends with my ex. What you want here is a relationship or romance - not a friendship with this person. Jumping into a friend-type role is nothing more than your way of trying to stay within your ex's line of sight... a goal that isn't really going to get you where you want to be. In fact, the more removed you can be from your ex's field of vision, the more that person will start to miss you. Wanting to get back together with your exboyfriend or exgirlfriend is an acceptable goal, but friendship is certainly not the way to do it.

Are you trying to be friends in the hopes of winning your ex's heart again? If so, there are better ways of doing it. Instead of locking yourself in a platonic prison from which you can't possibly get your ex back, you should be dealing with your feelings in a more honest way. There are techniques for reinserting yourself in your ex's life in a more romantic aspect instead of a buddy role. There are also methods you can use to get your ex thinking about you again, and even wanting to be with you. These moves are actually easier than you think, when you apply them with an honest approach.

Iker Casillas Real Madrid

Iker Casillas Fernández (Spanish pronunciation: ['ike? ka'si?as fe?'nande?]; born 20 May 1981) is a Spanish football goalkeeper who plays for the Spanish La Liga club Real Madrid and the Spanish national team, being the captain of both. In 2008 he led the Spanish national team to their first European Championship in 44 years, and in 2010, to win the World Cup, being also named the tournament's best goalkeeper.

Since his early professional years as a teenager, Casillas has been recognised as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe, being nominated for the European Footballer of the Year award twice, ranking fourth overall in 2008 and continuing to be the highest-ranked goalkeeper again in 2009.At the end of 2009 he was voted into the UEFA Team of the Year for the third consecutive time. As of July 2010 Casillas is one of a very select group of players who have won all major club and national championship titles. In 2010, he was awarded with the Sports Prince of Asturias Award. On 19 October 2010, Casillas became the most capped goalkeeper of all time in the UEFA Champions League.

Casillas was born on 20 May 1981 in Móstoles, Community of Madrid to José Luis Casillas, a civil servant in the Ministry of Education, and María del Carmen Fernández González, a hairdresser.Both his parents had emigrated from their home town of Navalacruz, Ávila.When Iker was a child, he lived for some years in the Basque Country, but he has always considered Madrid to be his hometown.[citation needed] Casillas has a brother, seven years younger, named Unai, who currently plays as a central midfielder for CD Móstoles.
